What is Behavioral Science
Behavioral Science is a growing interdisciplinary field that combines insights from psychology, economics, and other social sciences to understand and inform how people make decisions relevant to their well-being. Behavioral science provides key insights about people’s needs for and responses to policies about personal health, household finances, climate change and sustainability, as well as law and security, including during the COVID19 crisis.
Who We Are
The Behavioral Science and Well-being Policy Behavioral Science Initiative has received support from the Provost’s Collaboration Fund to bring together behavioral scientists, behavioral economists, behavioral decision researchers, and psychologists from across USC. We also support the Behavioral Science Society for undergraduate students, graduate students and postdocs.
